Reboot's awful cliffhanger still angers me

The void in my soul will never be filled. I wish the original creators would do something about it. Yeah, I watched all the episodes again. Felt good man, until the last episode. The series ended with megabyte taking over the main office and everyone trapped like rats inside the building waiting for him to catch them. The last words of the entire series are megabyte saying "let the hunt begin". To this day, I still believe the Season Three finale is the original ending and the rest of the episodes didn't exist. The Daemon movie/4-part episode would have concluded the series if it ended with Daemon's defeat, but it then segued into the second movie/4-parter, My Two Bobs, which ended on a nasty cliffhanger.
